Treating Anxiety Disorders
The most common types of mental health disorders are anxiety disorders, which affect almost 40 million adult Americans. These illnesses are usually chronic and severe in nature. They usually last for at least six months, or more if those suffering from it are not subjected to treatment. Because of the high prevalence and the chronicity of anxiety disorders, a big chunk of the National healthcare funds, amounting to $42 to $45 billion a year, is spent for these illnesses.
